Heritage Village Retirement Campus is a community dedicated to providing active adults with a comfortable and enjoyable lifestyle. Every resident is given ample opportunity to partake in several activities tailored to his or her personal interests. From researching information in the on-campus library and technology center to playing shuffleboard or billiards, Heritage Village can accommodate your interests.

Residing in one of the several independent living accommodations at Heritage Village Retirement Campus results in a worry-free lifestyle. All residents enjoy freedom from the concerns and daily tasks that may keep them from doing the activities they love most. Deciding how they want to spend their free time is their first concern. This lifestyle can be your own as well! Whether you enjoy participating in small group Bible studies, gardening, woodworking, playing shuffleboard, making crafts, using the computer, doing research in the library, or just enjoying the rolling landscape of our 100-acre campus, Heritage Village is the place for you! But, on campus activities are just the beginning. Residents also enjoy several area trips and off-campus programs.

We offer a variety of Independent Living residences to fit your lifestyle.

Please remember that most of these residences have a waiting list of people to move in. Please take the opportunity to complete a no-cost application as soon as possible, in order to place yourself on the waiting list for the residence(s) of your choice.

In addition to the campus amenities and interest groups, the Chautauqua County area offers inhabitants a wonderful and relaxing lifestyle. In the November 2002 issue of Golf Digest Magazine, Jamestown, New York (located just seven miles from the Retirement Campus) was ranked number one out of 314 cities as the best area for a golfer to reside. The criteria used to come to this determination included the number of public courses per capita, the number of total courses per capita, the average green fees of the courses, the climate modifier, and the average star rating of Golf Digest readers.

Other than great golf, Jamestown is also the birthplace of actress and comedian Lucille Ball. Located in the heart of downtown Jamestown, the Lucy-Desi Museum houses some of the most unique artifacts from her exciting career. Each spring, the downtown district hosts the "Lucille Ball Birthday Celebration," turning the area into a carnival complete with rides, games and comedy shows.

Finally, Chautauqua County is fortunate enough to be located right along the banks of Chautauqua Lake. The lake area is home to some of the most favored tourist spots, including the cultural center, Chautauqua Institution. The Institution hosts several artists each summer, most of whom are leaders in their particular field of study.
