Vinecroft is located in Clarence Center, a northeastern suburb of Buffalo. Less than a mile from the hustle and bustle of Transit Road, the pastoral setting of Vinecroft lends itself to quiet evenings, beautiful sunsets, strutting wild turkeys and spotted young fawns. The nearby bicycle path, town parks and golf courses make this an ideal area for active seniors who enjoy outdoor activity. Situated on the same campus is Bristol Home, a licensed assisted living community. Hence, should a resident of Vinecroft require assistance with daily activities of living, a higher level of care is nearby.

Vinecroft is established as a Christian-based retirement community and is sponsored by Western New York Mennonite Retirement Community, Inc, a nonprofit corporation. Distinguished from other retirement communities in the greater Buffalo area, Vinecroft is a small community. Services are personalized and tailored to individual needs and desires. No one is “lost in the crowd.” We take pride in getting to know the unique qualities, gifts and talents each resident and employee brings to our community.

Two residential options are offered at Vinecroft: apartments and patio-style duplex homes. Apartment living is enhanced by amenities such as the lovely garden room, a parlor for private gatherings, comprehensive transportation services and a program of planned activities. Patio homes include cathedral ceilings, circle top windows, full-size kitchens, spacious closets, attached garage and all maintenance of the home including lawn care and snow removal.

Vinecroft Apartment Services and Amenities

The following services and amenities are available and/or provided to apartment residents:

- A secure, safe and clean environment
- 24-hour emergency response
- Morning courtesy calls
- Well-lighted parking spaces
- Two nutritionally-balanced meals per day
- Weekly laundering of bed linens and towels
- Apartment cleaning every other week
- Social, educational, and recreational activities
- All utilities except telephone
- Scheduled local transportation
- Use of all common areas of the complex (multipurpose activity room, parlor, laundry facilities, elegant dining room, four-season greenhouse, etc.)
- Cable television
- Trash and snow removal
- Lawn care
- Management services
- Mail delivery to resident mailboxes
- Maintenance of the apartment and provided appliances
- Paid property liability insurance
- Paid real estate taxes

Optional services available for an additional cost:

- Hot Breakfast and/or lunch
- Assistance with miscellaneous chores
- Additional cleaning services
- Clerical assistance
- Additional transportation

- Guest lodging and meals

Duplex Home Service Package:

Our patio-style homes are spacious two bedroom, two bath homes with attached one-car garage.

The following services are included in the monthly fee:

- Snow and trash removal
- Repair and maintenance of home inside and outside
- Repair, maintenance, and replacement of equipment and provided appliances
- 24-hour emergency response
- Paid property and liability insurance
- Paid sewer, water, and street lighting
- Paid real estate taxes

Optional services for duplex residents, available for an additional cost:

- Any or all meals
- Transportation
- Laundry
- Cleaning
- Morning courtesy calls
- Clerical assistance
- Guest meals and lodging (in congregate building)


Resident Life
