Each studio and suite is fully furnished in the colonial style, including a full-size bed, table and chairs, nightstand, custom-made armoire with plenty of drawer and closet space, and a private full bathroom. You are also welcome to decorate your apartment with your own furnishings and possessions...a vase, a lamp, a favorite chair. Bring a television to hook up to cable, installed in every room, a phone to connect to your private direct-dial line, a microwave, or even a small refrigerator. No matter how you choose to set up your apartment at Island Shores, you will be surrounded by all the comforts of home.

In our cozy, intimate dining room, you'll feel like a guest at a five-star restaurant, three times a day, every day of the week. You are welcome to dine with a group of friends or enjoy a quiet meal alone as our experienced waitstaff attends to your culinary desires. Our state-of-the-art kitchen will serve up a vast menu of scrumptious gourmet entrees from which to choose, as well as cater to any special dietary restrictions. Adding to the ambience are the crisp linen tablecloths, chandeliers, and fine china and crystal that accompany our dining room service. For special occasions or family gatherings, you can reserve our beautiful private dining room and have the cuisine of your choice brought in from outside, or we'll be happy to cater your affair. We also offer theme dinners to accompany some of the activities we'll have on the premises, and we encourage to you to experiment and sample new fare. You'll even find off-hours snacks in our common areas, so you can partake of a cup of coffee or tea, a piece of fresh fruit, or other light morsels any time you want. When the weather is nice, there's always the option of having a picnic or barbeque on the grounds or on the beach. At Island Shores, it will be easy for you to do the things that you love, as well as develop new interests, because we've thought of everything. Listen to a visiting professor lecture on intriguing subjects such as Italian Renaissance art. Then make your way to the computer room, where our expert will guide you on an internet tour of the museums of Florence, and round out the day with an exquisite Italian dinner. Our activities director will be planning these and many other events for your entertainment, and will be happy to incorporate any ideas that you have. Or, create your own entertainment. No more worries about getting to the bank, barber shop, beauty salon, and doctor's office, or enduring long waits when you get there. Bank representatives will come to Island Shores to help you manage your account, and we have an ATM on the premises so you can get cash any time you need it. For a haircut, shave or manicure, make an appointment with a barber or stylist at our salon. Carefully monitored, well-lit elevators and hallways will make it easy for you to get around safely at all times. Your apartment will be kept immaculate without you lifting a finger, as our dedicated housekeeping staff will be in to clean daily. Take your clothes down to our laundry room, filled with brand new washers and dryers that are yours to use for free, or for a small fee we'll do all of your laundry for you. For errands that take you outside Island Shores, make use of shopping in the area, either on foot, by bus, or with your car, which you can keep in our private parking lot.
