What is the basic monthly rent?
The rent starts at $3150 for a studio; $4075 and up for one-bedroom apartments; and $5095 for a studio in the Alzheimer’s unit. Choice rate option or companion room plans offer reduced rates and affordable options for our apartments.

Do I sign a lease?
No. We rent month to month. Residents must provide 30 days notice before leaving. An admission fee of $1500 will reserve an apartment.

Is the admission fee refundable?
It is until you move into the Landing.

Is the Landing covered by insurance?
The Landing is a private-pay facility. However, several long-term care policies will cover the costs of assisted living. In addition, veterans or surviving spouses of veterans may be eligible for reimbursement of some costs through the veteran’s Aid & Attendance program (please call for details.)

May I have overnight guests?
Yes, although requests need to be approved by the community director.

I don't drive. How do I get to my appointments?
A van is available to take residents to appointments within a 10-mile radius.

Where can I park my car?
We have ample parking for residents and their guests.

Do you lock the door at night?
Doors are locked in the evenings, but residents may come and go as they please.

What if I am ill or need help?
Each apartment has an emergency call system, and someone is available 24-hours a day to assist you.

What happens if I require additional care while living at The Landing?
We will conduct an assessment at no obligation or cost to you to determine which of our FlexAssist programs best meets your individual needs.

I'm on a special diet. How will you handle that?
We offer several specialized diets including low concentrated sweets (for diabetics) and low fat/low cholesterol (for cardiac) diets. We will work with your physician to select the best menu choices for your diet needs.
